Sometimes, imagination begins with something as simple as a child’s voice saying, “I have a story to tell.”

For most seven-year-olds, stories are about dragons, fairies, or faraway castles. But for Wanita T. Zaman, a Grade 2 student at Glenrich International School, Satarkul, storytelling became something much more. Her story didn’t just stay between the pages of her notebook; it found its way into print, reaching readers across the world through Kreebo Greatest Hits July 2025 Edition on Amazon.

It is not every day that a second grader becomes a published author. Yet for Wanita, imagination knows no limits.

From Classroom Ideas to a Book on Amazon

Wanita’s journey began with curiosity. She had always loved creating characters and inventing little adventures after school. Her father, Tahsin Zaman, recalls how she would often sit beside him, weaving tales about animals, space, and the world she imagined. When she discovered Kreebo, something clicked.

Unlike ordinary storytelling apps, Kreebo gave her a space to bring her imagination to life. She began writing short stories with the help of Kreebo’s interactive guidance. It asked her questions, inspired her, and turned her words into beautifully illustrated storybooks.

Soon, one of her creations stood out among hundreds of stories written by children from around the world. Her story was selected to be part of Kreebo Greatest Hits July 2025 Edition, a collection celebrating young authors who used the app to publish their own illustrated books.

For her family, it was more than a surprise; it was a proud moment, joy, and wonder all at once. Tahsin shared that he had to read the email twice when he first found out his daughter’s story would be published.

“She always loved stories,” he said. “But seeing her name on Amazon changed everything. Now she knows her words matter.”

The Imagination Behind the Story

Wanita’s creativity comes from the heart of a child who sees the world differently. Her story was filled with hope, friendship, and colors that reflected her personality. She often mixed what she learned in school with what she imagined at home. Whether it was a tale about animals or a dream about a magical journey, she always added something that made it her own.

Through Kreebo, her imagination found structure. The app guided her gently, showing her how to describe her characters, build scenes, and complete her story step by step. It was not a machine writing for her; it was her own storytelling voice, growing stronger with every line.

Her parents noticed how much more confident she became. Storytelling became her way of expressing thoughts that words sometimes couldn’t. What started as a small idea turned into something extraordinary.

A New Kind of Learning

Children like Wanita are proving that storytelling can be more than a hobby. It can be a bridge between learning and creativity. Studies from Frontiers in Psychology show that story creation enhances emotional intelligence, improves focus, and strengthens language development in children. By expressing their imagination through stories, they also learn empathy, problem-solving, and communication.

Apps like Kreebo take these benefits a step further by giving children ownership of their creations. When they see their stories turn into books, confidence blooms. Learning becomes joyful, and technology turns from distraction into creation.

More Than Just an App

In 2025, Kreebo won the Gold Award in the Lifestyle and Culture category at the Asia Smart Innovation Awards for redefining how children use screen time. But its real success is seen in children like Wanita.

She didn’t just use an app; she found a voice. Through Kreebo, her imagination traveled from a classroom in Satarkul to bookshelves across the world. And as her story inspires others, it reminds us all that creativity has no age.

Every time a child opens Kreebo, they are not just playing or writing. They are building a part of themselves, discovering the joy of creating something that truly belongs to them.

Wanita’s journey is proof that storytelling, when nurtured, can shape not just young readers but young dreamers.
